Affiliate Disclosure

The Short Version
Battl Builders is free to use, and we intend to keep it that way. We pay for it with affiliate links. When you click through to a merchant from one of our pages and buy something, that merchant pays us a small commission. You pay the same price you would have paid anyway. We just get credit for sending you there.
That commission is what keeps the servers on, the catalog updated, and the team building. No paywalls, no selling your data — just links that pay us when they work.
1. How This Actually Works
Battl Builders aggregates parts, prices, and offers from across the AR-15 ecosystem so you can compare and build in one place. We don't sell parts, hold inventory, or process payments. When you decide to buy, you leave us and go to the merchant's own store.
Many of the outbound links on this site are affiliate links. When you follow one and complete a purchase, the merchant attributes that sale to us and pays a commission — typically a small percentage of the order. Some links are not affiliate links at all. Either way, your price never changes.
2. What Commission Never Buys
We're going to be blunt about this, because it's the whole point of the page:
- It does not change the price you pay. Affiliate commissions come out of the merchant's margin, not your wallet.
- It does not buy a higher ranking. A merchant cannot pay us to sit at the top of a comparison or to look like a better deal than it is.
- It does not bias the data. Prices, specs, and offers are pulled from merchant feeds and shown as they are.
- It does not hide better options. If a non-affiliate merchant has the lower price, we still want you to see it.
If we ever let a commission distort what you see, the tool stops being useful — and a tool nobody trusts isn't worth running.
3. Why We Chose This Model
Every product like this has to make money somehow. The usual options are subscriptions, paywalls, intrusive ads, or selling user data. We didn't want any of those between you and your build.
Affiliate links let the people who already profit from the sale — the merchants — fund the tool that sent them the customer. You get a free, fast, independent way to compare parts. We get paid only when we actually help you find something worth buying. The incentives line up: the better our recommendations, the longer Battl Builders survives.
4. How to Spot an Affiliate Link
Outbound "Buy" and merchant offer links are the ones most likely to be affiliate links. They often route through a tracking redirect before landing you on the merchant's site — that redirect is how the sale gets attributed to us.
You are never obligated to use them. If you'd rather, you can search for the merchant directly and buy from them without us in the loop. We'd appreciate the click — but the choice is always yours.
5. The Legal Part (FTC)
U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidelines require us to disclose when we have a financial relationship with merchants we link to. This page is that disclosure. Consider it standing notice that Battl Builders earns affiliate commissions from qualifying purchases made through links on this site.
6. Thank You
Genuinely — every build you put together and every link you follow keeps this thing alive. We'd rather earn your trust than your subscription, and affiliate links are how we keep the lights on without charging you a dime.
